stress divided by two aint so bad.

despite the happy smiles in this pic, we've had many trials of late. from fifty-by-fifty photos to excessive paperwork to awful travel agents. not to mention the many more to come: finishing this dreary semester without screwing up grades, long plane rides on dubious airlines, missing out on TWO weeks of school next semester. and if the weather in alaska is as depressing as the cold that characterizes singapore's weather now, then add "three depressingly cold months" to the list.

wow i believe this is the first truly dampening post on this blog, and i'm sorry i have to be the one to post it :( the thing is i'm still excited about the whole thing! from the packing to the prospects of discovering a whole new place to the independence to the adventures i know we'll have. it's just that now it's no longer this fantasy, paradise-like thing i'm looking forward to. but an exciting life event that i know will challenge me in ways i've never been challenged before. but bottom line is, we're going to be fine! it really is great comfort to know i'm not doing this alone. I LOVE YOU PARDNER! :)
