photo backdate!
ok this blog has been pretty damn neglected of late. june was a crazily busy month. anyway here's a small photo update! (omg that rhymes. totally unintentional!)
meet roxy - the nicest (in my opinion) person in the whole of tok! this is the day she came over to cook with us. pictures of food and cooking process up another time maybe? haha
this was on 4th of july at roxy's mum's taco stand that just opened that day. the food is awesome! especially the salsa. yumm.

another 4th of july pic. at the dog mushers which was where the main celebrations at tok were. there wasnt much festivities over here though. and we were unfortunately working during the "parade". it was a bit of an anticlimax but oh wells. i like this photo tho! :D there are many different versions of this. haha
with some of the decorations at the hotel.
this was taken on the longest day of the year! there was virtually no darkness. so at like 1am it looked like 7pm.
it was also the day the skies turned pink :D
and finally. this is probably the most yummy thing we have had over here. courtesy of ditty! steak, crabs and prawns. yummy :D

so nice to hear from you! yes the food looks yummie,, hope you are well and able to enjoy alaska even if the work gets burdensome.

just sent you a parcel on tues. the post master told me alaska - no mail!!!! eventually she realised it had to go via USA. so happy opening parcels and happy 20th. love you dearie pie.

when she told me that there was no mail to Alaska - i said Huh but my daughter is working there and she has been receiving MANY parcels from her Godma already. is this all a dream? i told her? i had to go there the second time before she finally decided that i could send the parcel via US. So alaska or not, hope you are surviving in a country where there is civilization. at least from the pix and company, i am sure you are:) cheers
haha omg yes alaska is really quite ulu i've come to realise. anyways i will be looking forward to the parcel! just received aunt d's one today :) everyone was very excited about all the noodles! haha. miss all of you! btw my phone number is 8832065. i think you need to add the country code (not sure what this is) and the state code (907) in front. you guys figure it out and give me a call when everyone is at home ok! :)
