long ride home.

quick update on what's been happening!
work has been pretty stressful. right now it seems impossible to clear 16 rooms in 8 hours. or rather 7 since our breaks take up 1 hour. we singaporean girls always end up having to stay back and finish our rooms. heh. but we are improving! slowly but surely :)
outside work. i love my off days. on thursday, when all of us were off, we headed off in a direction of the alaskan highway that we have yet to explore. and we found - the tok general store! which is a lovely lovely little shop selling organic products (you would love it mum! haha), ice cream, cute candy in jars and all sorts of cute little things. they even had TIGER BALM which we all got kinda excited over cos it's said "Product of Singapore" hurr. oh and jolene, the ice cream there (or at least the flavor i chose) tastes just like my fav ikea ice cream! heheh. we also visited fast eddy's (supposedly one of the best restaurants in tok) for their famous peanut butter pie which was pretty good! and curly fries too. heh. walked over to the little airport too to enquire about flightseeing!
last night, we had a mini trailer party cos there were very little guests so almost everyone was off. everyone came over to our "no-rules" trailer for some mexican tequila provided by our very cute mexican chef. haha. it was pretty good! but dont worry parents, both of us only had one shot each :P hm photos would explain this party better, hopefully we can get some up soon! then we can introduce you to our bulgarian friends too :)
and today, our trailer supervisor, ditty, (who is awesomely cool :D) drove a bunch of us down to fairbanks for pirates! sushi! walmart! and fred myers! it was such a long ride tho. yikes.
i'll keep this short for now cos it's late and i'm getting sleepy. tho it's getting brighter already. ha.
anyways, aunt d, i dont have a mailing address here though i'm thinking of renting a P.O. box. i want mail!! hahah. will keep you posted! :)a

hi dear:) my skye is mabel teo. mum will be away 1 - 11 june (health retreat) to some kind of a mountain different from yours kota kinabalu - no comparison but much better than singapore air for sure and away from the working stress too. hope to speak to you today or tomorrow at 1pm. meantime take care while i rejuvenate in the mountain top. love and kisses and hugs. i shall keep in touch with you in your blog.
